Revenue and transactions

Gross revenue: fan payments before platform fees and agreed deductions.

Net revenue: revenue remaining after platform fees and applicable payment deductions.

PPV: paid content or an offer purchased separately from a base subscription.

Average revenue per subscriber: revenue divided by the applicable subscriber count for a defined period.


Fan operations

Fan lifecycle: the sequence from acquisition through engagement, purchase, renewal, lapse, and possible reactivation.

Segmentation: grouping fans by relevant behavior or status to support appropriate communication and offers.

Retention: the continuation or renewal of an active subscriber relationship.

Upsell: presenting an additional paid offer to an existing subscriber or customer.


Performance

Conversion: movement from a defined audience action to a defined commercial action.

Churn: subscribers who do not continue or renew during the measured period.

Monetization efficiency: the relationship between available audience, subscriber behavior, operating activity, and revenue.

Performance baseline: a starting measurement used to evaluate later changes.


Compliance and safety

Creator authorization: documented permission for an agency or operator to act within an agreed account scope.

Platform compliance: operating in accordance with current platform rules and policies.

Access control: limiting account and data access to authorized people using appropriate security practices.
